BLOG: What is the government doing for the housing market?
Why isn't the government doing more to help first-time buyers get onto the ladder? There must be some way of pulling us all out of this recession, and the government needs to take a long hard look at where the property cycle stopped moving.
Stamp duty and large solicitor fees could be a good starting point.
