The Junction is a staple, excellent beers on tap too. Try the hideaway for a drink up towards archway, they have live music downstairs some evenings and do pretty delicious pizzas.
Agree on Spaghetti House, if you can get a table, the seafood is great. Also, Eat Zone on Fortess Road for supreme thai noodles and currys, cantine style but they have a licence. Try the fresh Lemon Ice Tea.
